Alternates to flip flops?

I wear flips flops like everyday in the summer and spring and fall. I heard that they are bad for your feet so you should wear other shoes sometimes. I am wondering what other shoes would be cute and not harmful to my feet? I know tennis shoes could work but i'm not a big fan of those types of shoes unless during the winter.

Would other sandals be ok like with a strap on the back or are those damaging also?
Also any recommendations are great!

btw i'm 15.
also, one of the reasons i'm looking for alternate shoes is because flip flops are bad for your TOES. my toes are becoming like deformed haha.

Flip-flops are ok for your feet as long as you dont wear the same pair for a period of more than three months, after that bacterias are more likely to stick onto the shoe and rub on to your feet You also should ntwear them for running, hiking, long periods of walking,etc because you need more support for your feet during those activities. They are ok for walking around with friends or going to the beach, going out to eat, etc.

So don't worry about flip-flops just keep em clean and use them for the right activities! As far as cool shoes you could try ...gladiators (they provide not a lot of support but a little bit more than flipflops)! They look really weird but on feet they are amazing

also try ballet flats, they go well with shorts and summer wear, can be worn for at the beach, provide a little more coverage so bacterias cant get on the inside where you feet are, and even though they werent designed for hiking they have a lil more support then flip-flops!
