I love my new flip flops but the rubber that goes between my toes hurts so bad..?

any suggestions what I can put around that part to make it more comfortable ?

try manipulating them, so just sit there watching a film or something and move that bit of plastic around

this will wear it down a bit, like what happens when you wear a new pair of shoes they are hard and hurt sometimes but after some use they become comfortable

so manipulating it simulates you wearing them but without actually hurting your feet
