Women's Shoes/Flip-flops?
This is a serious question.
I have always wondered why women wear open shoes, sandals and flip-flops even when it is freezing, snowing or otherwise completely impractical, and still complain that it's cold. For example, I was at the Denver, Colorado airport last week, it was 33 degrees outside and I was amazed at the number of women that were wearing sandals or flip-flops. Just out of bored curiosity I started looking for Men wearing the same, roughly 1 for every 30 or so women.
I'm baffled....
Even though I was at the airport, and yes, you do need to take your shoes off, the same phenomenon of women (not just young women either) wearing flip flops was clearly apparent everywhere. Is the fact that they are "Cute" really that important?
Please do not deflect the question by pointing out Men's "Fashion", especially young men wearing their pants 10 sizes too big and down around their butts.... That's another question....
sometimes it's the area your in. I went to college in vermont for 4 years and my roommate who was born and raised in vermont wore sandals if it was 30 up and there was no snow on the ground. I thought she was nuts but she said she was used to it . She also doesn't like things on her feet, in the dorm she would always be barefoot. It's just the way she is. Open toed shoes (like high heels) are more for fashion. High heels in general aren't very comfortable (in my opinion anyway) As for girls wearing sandals/flip-flops in 30 degree weather and complain? They are the ones that just like to hear themselves talk and think it's the 'cool' thing to wear sandals/flip-flops
