Is black still a good color for Mens Flip Flops?
I have a pair of the quicksilver carver from 2 seasons ago at Anchor Blue, funny thing is they are considered a new item this year at Pac Sun. They are mostly black so is that still a good color for men or has brown taken over?
I don't see anything wrong with black. It was never "out".
Brown or black goes with everything.

Men, Women And The Holiday Wardrobe War

No matter where or when you’re going on holiday, or whether you’re a last minute person or a fastidious organiser, you’ll have one thing in common – packing.

Packing a suitcase, whether you love it or hate it, is an essential part of the holiday process – a decision filled test of spatial awareness that men are generally considered ‘better’ at.

However, despite the notion that many women head on holiday with bulging suitcases full of useless items, new research by HolidayExtras.com shows that ladies may in fact win the battle of the sexes when it comes to packing.

A recent survey of customers demonstrated that, contrary to popular belief, it is men who fail to pack lightly, with the majority (64 per cent) returning from holiday with 20 per cent of the clothes in their suitcase unworn, 10 per cent more than the women questioned.

Overall, 81 per cent of men in the poll came home with between 20 and 70 per cent of their clothes untouched, again a greater number than the females. However, while this may be a surprise, it seems that one stereotype may ring true - over a quarter (26 per cent) of ladies take between four and nine pairs of shoes, with 7 per cent of those questioned holidaying with ten or more choices of footwear. Men by contrast pack shoes modestly, with 92 per cent taking only one to three pairs on holiday with them.

It seems there’s a lesson to be learned from women when it comes to packing, as even though they certainly take lots of shoes away with them, at least they wear them! Michele Betzner, fashion and beauty expert for the Holiday Extras Expert Panel offers the following advice for perfect packing:

- Always lay all your clothes out before packing them – this will avoid taking several items that are almost identical away with you.

- To instantly reduce bulk, limit yourself to basic colours which co-ordinate, such as black, white or grey, and pack lots of colourful accessories which will completely change the look of your staple outfits.

- Try on all the shoes you are thinking of packing before you go and see how they look with the outfits you’ve decided to take. Then be strict and choose only the top three to take, plus one pair of flip-flops, this will be plenty.
