I wear a size 9, what size Bearpaws should I get?

My friends tell me 1/2 to 1 size smaller than my original size. I currently have a size 9 Bearpaws, and they flop all over and the soles are already very worn. I usually fit into all other size 9 shoes (i.e. sneakers, dress shoes, flats). Please help!!

You should get your size because all the fur patts down and they stretch about half a size smaller. So get your own size or 8 1/2
