Red or Blue?

My man was looking at some Teva Flip Flops on ebay and found a blue pair that has 4 straps and a red pair that just has the 1. Any ideas on what to advise him to get or am I right on thinking they are to feminine for him?

Update: After looking at the sandals, I would say that the red look more masculine; however, E-bay lists each of these as "Women's" sandals.
