White Wedding Flip Flops

How do I get the dye off?

This past weekend I was in a wedding. I had to wear those dyeables shoes and the dye ended up all over my feet. I now how burgundy feet when I should have white feet. I've tried soaking my feet in water, using acetone nail polish remover. I'm desperate to wear my flip flops again!

Try soaking your feet, and use lemon juice. If you can get your hands on it- use pure acetone (available in most beauty supply stores) or even hair dye remover (again- available in a lot of beauty supply stores- but if you can't find it- ask your local salon- they should know-) Moisturize- and exfoliate your skin daily- that will help get some of the dead skin off. You can try a self-tanner to try even out your skin tone. If after a few weeks and it still hasn't gone back to normal- talk to a doctor- a dermatologist will know why the dye stained your skin like that. But it should start to fade soon- if it was last weekend- I wish you luck!
